•  In almost all regions, there are more female than male registered voters, with the biggest proportions of female voters in Simiyu (58%), Geita (58%), Katavi (57%) and Kigoma (57%).
•  In Simiyu region, 58% of registered voters are women, and yet there is not even one female parliamentary candidate in the region.
• In just one region (Manyara), there are more male than female registered voters.
