• Reported voter education efforts are low across all three groups of potential providers, with around two-thirds (63-73%) of observers reporting no sign of any voter education initiatives.

Voter education by zone (by political parties)

• There are more reports of voter education by parties in the Central Zone (Dodoma, Singida, Tabora) than in other zones.

Voter education in urban and rural areas (by parties)

• Voter education by political parties is a little more balanced between urban and rural areas, but still more concentrated in urban than rural communities

Voter education increasing over time?

• Across all three potential providers of voter education, there are signs that more voter education activities are taking place as the election date approaches.
